Our Classes.
From the very beginning, DanceCraft classes follow a pattern of work that evolves as the children grow.
We place children in suitable classes where they will feel happy and secure.
We do everything we can to fully prepare our children for their regular performances for family and friends, encouraging discussion and role-playing in class. This ensures that every performance is a happy, magical experience for all.
We believe dance should be 'Exercise for the body, heart and mind'.

NEW PRE-SCHOOL CLASS COMMENCING IN SEPTEMBER
10.00am
This is where our dancers start their magical dance journey.
Children will learn to dance and perform with gentle guidance and plenty of help, and should they need it, the support of their parent, friend or older sibling alongside them. Anything to help them settle and enjoy their class.

Infant
10.30am
By now, the children will be, or will soon be, attending 'big school': have been dancing for a while or are more confident. This class will cover different dance styles and the children will all have the opportunity to dance in front of their family and friends at our regular school dance events. Lots of fun!
Centre Stage
Junior
11.10am
A mixed genre dance & performance class for our juniors. The children's confidence will be growing every term and they will be encouraged to work together on their performance and presentation skills.
This class will suit children already attending junior school upwards.
A super class for girls that love to dance and perform.
MCompany
11.50am
MCompany is a mixed age dance class for students that have trained and performed with us for many years. Some of which will now be taking part in auditions, shows, performances and extra training outside of DanceCraft.
We are always extremely proud of them and support them every step of the way.
MCompany is a class for dancers that just love to dance! For older junior and senior school pupils that wish to keep up their dance and performance training, become teaching assistants, help with younger students and assist with dance shows. Over time, some of these girls will develop their own choreography and teaching skills, this we love to see and highly encourage. Pupils learn how to arrange and put on performances by helping front stage, backstage, side stage and of course, on stage.
Not forgetting that it is great for them to just enjoy being with dancer friends, chatting and catching up whilst dancing one's cares away after a busy week's schedule at school.
We are also extremely proud to have had many girls join us for their Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Well done all of you... M
12.40pm - 13.10pm (Extra studio time).
